OUR STORY

A Legacy Rooted in Faith, Service and Community.

“Building a strong foundation for a secure future.”

Conceived by the leadership of the Church of the Nazarene Barbados District, the Foundation honors more than fifty years of faithful Christian service by Rev. Dr. Scoffield Eversley and Rev. Dr. Margaret Eversley. Their devoted life of spiritual leadership, practical care, and community uplift continues to guide our mission today.

THE EVERSLEY LEGACY

Faith as a foundation for service

“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work... Open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.”

— JOHN 4:34–35

Grounded in the timeless words of scripture, the foundation of Scoffield and Margaret Eversley’s ministry was built on an unwavering commitment to the Church of the Nazarene and unconditional service to humanity.

Their holistic approach seamlessly united spiritual transformation with active learning and practical human care. Today, that focus extends purposefully beyond the church into surrounding communities-recognizing the essential value of collaborating with other faith-based organizations, dedicated individuals, and supporters to equip generations with resilient faith, hope, and purpose.
